HVAC Service Technician – Active Job Opening

 

Overview

The HVAC Service Technician will assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in a residential setting.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee installations
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R equipment
  • Perform warranty services
  • Apply local HVAC codes in a practical manner on each job
  • Provide technical support in the field
  • Field customer questions
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering to develop product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities
  • Layout, design, and install low-voltage wiring
  • Run after-hours calls as required
  • Relay issues and associated costs to client and supervisor
  • Order and pick up parts
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and cleaning ducts
  • Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
  • Keep daily logs and records of work completed
  • Maintain service truck
  • Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Health and Safety Act
  • Performs other related duties as required

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Experience in a residential setting an asset
  • Valid driver’s license

Licensed Plumber – Active Job Opening

 

Overview

Reporting to the Office Manager, the Licensed Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water, gas, or hot liquids in residential or commercial settings.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Define blueprints to evaluate the layout of plumbing installations and other systems.
  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and systems for water, air, and gas.
  • Install supports for the installation of pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures.
  • Inspection and testing of plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
  • Collaborate with contractors and electricians to meet plumbing requirements.
  • Visually inspect equipment and operate tests such as pressure and vacuum gauges.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Licensed plumber trade certificate
  • Experience in a residential setting is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license
